The masses have spoken. Angie R. is the lucky winner of my first photo contest! Thanks so much to all of you who sent entries. I hope it’s been as much fun for you all as it has been for me. As soon as Miss Angie gets back to me on where she’d like to claim her prize from… she will be receiving a $25 gift certificate. I should mention that those cute little toes belong to Addie when she was a tiny little newborn. I must say… pretty creative!
Tomorrow we are going to Des Moines to the most-biggest-furniture-store-in-the whole-wide-word… (picture me jumping up and down clapping super fast) Yippeee!!!! It’s like the size of Rhode Island I think. I LOVE shopping for new furniture. This time tomorrow, I might be the proud owner of my very first grown-up couch and loveseat. I have never had a new couch before… just hand-me-downs. How exciting! If I get one… you better believe there will be photographic evidence on this blog. I thought that graduating from college would make me feel like a grown up… then I thought getting married would make me feel like a grown up… then I thought surely having a kid would make me feel like a grown up… so far… I still don’t feel like a grown up. Maybe owning a yummy leather couch will do it!
