One down, Nine to go

Well, I made it through the first college rodeo of the season.  It was a two day rodeo so pretty much I’m busy nonstop from Friday afternoon to midnight Saturday.  Everything went pretty well.  It is such a relief when either of Cooper’s Grandmas are at the rodeo to keep him.  It makes my job a lot easier if I’m not stressed worrying about him.  My friend Kathy Sankey was at the rodeo to watch her daughter, so it was nice to visit with her, and it is always wonderful when Otey and I work the same rodeo.  Otey’s folks were here today to visit with Cooper.  He was so happy to see them.  Otey took my Mom to meet my dad today and switch vehicles.  Otey is going to take my parents camper and his truck to Iowa, and I"m going to take our camper and my Dad’s truck to Arkansas.  We sent my car home to Indiana (to get the window fixed).

The new antibiotics that Dr. Dan prescribed for Cooper seem to be doing the trick.  The green boogers were missing when he got up this morning.  I’m going to try and sleep every free moment I have this week (pretty much that’s like 6 minutes a day) so maybe I can get over the hump before I have to work in the cool night air next weekend.  Cooper’s Grandma Curry is going to be there so he’ll get one more weekend out of the weather to make sure he’s 100%.  Sorry I’ve missed a few days posting, and sorry this post is so ho-hum.  I promise more excitement tomorrow.
