First off, a quick note on the anniversary of 9-11. I am still to this day overwhelmed with confusion when I try to think about 9-11 and what those people went through. It’s kind of like Hurricane Katrina… they both stir up the same kind of feelings for me. I just literally can’t even wrap my head around things that big. I sat and watched the news stations for two days straight with both disasters took place. I have an overwhelming amount of respect for the survivors and for all of the volunteers and people who came to the rescue in both cases. I also want to remember our troops that are still fighting. Thanks to all of you… John and Buss, you’re in my prayers.
Now… on to living. It seems as though there has been a dark cloud hanging over this blog for the past few days… in all of the "yuck" I don’t want to forget that what’s most important is living. You know, like that old saying about what’s important on your tombstone… not the birth date or date of death… it’s the dash in the middle. Well, here’s to living…
