As you can probably imagine, I have TONS of laundry to get caught up on. Otey and I both took our jeans to the cleaners after the first week in Vegas, but I have two weeks of Cooper’s clothes, two weeks of underwear, socks, Pj’s, etc plus all of our good clothes from week two. Needless to say, I have made several trips up and down the basement stairs today!
It’s official, my kid’s toy count has now reached somewhere in the vicinity of three million. If you haven’t bought a Christmas present for Coop, and you still plan to… do not buy him any more toys! He has toys spread over ever inch of this house. I sware I spend a total of two hours a day just gathering toys. I did get our *little* Christmas tree put up today. Cooper is digging it. Here is a pic…
I started on the extra bedroom while Cooper was sleeping today. Spackling holes and stripping wallpaper border. I hope this doesn’t offend any of you wallpaper lovers… but before you choose to hang wallpaper in your house, take a moment and think of the poor sap that will have to try and strip it when you move. That poor sap, is currently me. The lovely people who used to own our house not only left us wallpaper and wallpaper border in some rooms, they also were kind enough to leave several layers of paint over the top of it!
