God has a plan… and it’s always better then ours.

A couple of weeks back I was scheduled to shoot two family sessions in Hannibal, Missouri and for the first time EVER in almost two years I got rained out.  I always tell clients when they ask me “what if it rains?” not to worry about it, we’ll end up getting to shoot.  I truly believe that God has just blessed me the past couple of years with great clients, and great weather, so when Hannibal was in the middle of horrible storms and rain, I was fine to reschedule.  Truthfully, I was feeling very pregnant and tired, one of the toddlers I was supposed to shoot was under the weather, and my camera had been on the fritz during my previous shoot.  God has a plan, and I was able to reschedule both sessions last week on my way down to St. Louis to pick up Magic the Pony.  We had the perfect weather and both Mom’s were available.  This is sweet Olivia.  It’s been awhile since I had a one child/no parents shoot and to say that chasing her around was making me feel very pregnant would be an understatement.  I knew it was going to be a good shoot when I pulled up and saw her wearing this dress…

Such a doll.  You wouldn’t know from her proofs that she wasn’t really that in to me.  She was so laid back and quiet (Cooper’s exact polar opposite) that I was worried you might not really see her personality in the photos.  I’m glad I was wrong!
