Transformation Complete.

When Otey and I got married, to say house keeping skills weren’t his specialty would be a VERY big understatement.  Over the past five years he has slowly changed his ways and now enjoys a clean house nearly as much as I do.  The days of "please pick up your dirty clothes" and "can you not wipe up that coffee you dripped everywhere?"  are long behind us.  Yesterday, I witnessed the proof that his full transformation from sloppy bachelor to tidy husband is complete.  We drove from about 9pm to 2am on Monday night.  Cooper and I slept the majority of the time, so when we parked the truck for the evening, I just grabbed Cooper out of his carseat and headed for the camper to hit the hay.  On Tuesday morning I got in the truck to go to the grocery store and witnessed the evidence.  Sometime during the late night drive, Otey had bought a bag of chips at the gas station.  He only ate part of the bag, and there they were… lying on the console… the left over chips.  Top neatly folded down and held securely…….. with the belt clip for his cellphone!  I was all by myself and laughed out-loud.  This coming from the guy who once said (after leaving who knows how many half eaten bags of chips open on the counter to go stale)… "what the hell is a chip-clip?"  Transformation Complete.
