Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to most importantly My Mom. The only ounce of sanity that has held our family together for years. I don’t know how my Dad landed such a level headed wife (the same thing could be said of me landing a level headed husband). If you know my Dad, you are shaking your head in agreement right now. Let’s just say I get the majority of my fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants genes from him. Thank goodness we have always had my Mom. She’s the one that drives the speed limit, forces us to be at the airport two hours before our flight, and keeps us from leaving the spoon in the ice-cream container to make it handy to eat straight out of the cartoon. Funny how you get smarter and smarter the older I get Mom. Thanks for giving me the best gift ever… a 30 year example of the kind of Mom I want to be. I love you.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful women in my life. I am truly surrounded by outstanding Mothers. The kind of Mom’s who inspire me to be a better Mom. To be more patient, to be more understanding, to be more loving.

Happy Mother’s Day to my family. Otey… thanks for allowing me to be a “stay at home” Mom and for giving me the gift of our boys. Cooper… for loving me even when I’m a crudy Mom. And to baby No Name… for kicking the dog snot out of me 24-7.

The gift of motherhood is not one I take lightly. I have one very expensive baby boy that modern medicine gave us, and one REAL. LIFE. MIRACLE. baby on the way. Being a Mom truly is my favorite job in the world. Happy Mother’s Day.
