Grey’s Anatomy

Today was a whirlwind… let me start out by saying I never lock my car.  I don’t lock it at the mall, heck, I usually leave it running when I run in to the grocery or in to a gas station.  With that said… I somehow accidentally locked my car when I got out of it at the camper today.  On top of everything, since I never lock it, I obviously don’t ever take the keys out of it… so, the rest of the story is, when I accidentally locked my car today, the keys were in the ignition.  The locksmith literally worked on it for hours.  During these hours, my sick baby was crying, Otey was working, I was coughing, and, it was raining.  Thank goodness it happened at the camper so Cooper and I were out of the weather watching the poor locksmith (out the window) working in the rain.  Here is the good news, a thief would need a brick to break in to my car, here is the bad news, the locksmith’s do-hicky works the same as a brick.  He cracked my window…  he’s paying for a new one…  and my keys are still hanging in the ignition of a locked car.  Otey is going to try and get the dealership to cut me a key tomorrow.  Geesh.  What a deal.  Cooper is sicker.  My Mom is flying in to keep him in the camper this weekend so he’ll be out of the weather.  Our hero Dr Dan says not to worry, his fever hasn’t been over 100 and he is eating and drinking, but I hate him feeling cruddy.  He’s on round two of antibiotics.  I am currently enjoying the highlight of my day, the thing I’ve been waiting on for months, the new season of Grey’s Anatomy.  Until tomorrow…
