Okay, now I feel like an even bigger loser then I did before. Are you telling me that all you Iowa super Moms never have any help keeping up with your house? Geesh. It's confirmed. I am a crappy wife/mom. Today I spent about 12 hours in front of my computer and during my occasional trip to the bathroom or to fetch Cooper "MOMMY!!! more raisins?" I couldn't help but notice last weeks dust and dog hair starting to gather on the hardwood floors. Yuck… double yuck. I feel like I'm meeting myself coming and going and my house is the first thing that gets neglected when I get super busy.
As promised… Wade & Ashley…
Ashley had her dress custom made and absolutely no one had seen it before the wedding day. She got dressed by herself (I was there of course) and then her Dad was the first one to see her in it.
Wade and Ashley decided to see each other before the ceremony so that we'd have plenty of time to shoot their photos together (did I mention I LOVE THAT?) The first look was pretty darn sweet. Wade stood with his back turned until Ashley touched his arm. Here is the very first moment that they saw each other.
Now, on to the meat and potatoes…
Their day was so relaxed. Here's one of the girls looking hot and one of the guys staying hydrated.
It started to rain during our group photos in between the ceremony and reception. We decided to try and wait it out. Unfortunately it took awhile for the rain to pass and we tried to squeeze in a few fun shots but it was just so stinkin' dark that my super fun jumping photo I had planned is WAY grainy. For sure not a framer, but I thought I'd share it here on the blog because it still made me smile.
And… to conclude the world's longest blog post. A shot of the wedding favors.
Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day guys. See you in May at the next family wedding!
