I am the baby cousin on my Mom’s side, and on my Dad’s side I fall somewhere in the middle.  You know how when you are growing up, a couple of years difference in age is HUGE, but when you become adults, those couple of years just fade away?  Well I was reminded of that fact this morning.  I shot my "little" cousin’s baby girl this morning.  My "little" cousin is now a grown woman with a one year old and a husband on his second trip to Iraq.  It’s amazing to me that she is able to function daily knowing her husband is in Iraq… let alone be a good mother.  I really don’t think I would be strong enough.  Anyway, I am so very proud of her and thankful for the sacrifice that she and thousands of other woman are making… sharing their husbands with our country.  It truly amazes me.  Here is their sweet Claire…

She seriously has the brightest eyes that I have ever seen.  They almost look turquoise.   Sooooo pretty…

I’m off to bed.  We’re leaving for Iowa tomorrow morning 🙁
