Cooper and I had a great day. I got tons of fun shots of him. He actually looked at the camera a few times (that never happens anymore). We had pizza and blueberries for lunch. He was wearing an old blue shirt that is too small for him anyway, so I just let him get blueberries all over. When he was done, I was cleaning the kitchen and enjoying him being strapped down for a few minutes, so I decided he needed something to occupy his time and keep him in his high chair a few more minutes. Here is what I came up with…
Cooper’s first popsicle! I figured he was already covered in blueberries stains… some strawberry stains wouldn’t hurt. He loved it and ate every last bite.
We went straight to the bathtub for a VERY long bath. Bathing is the only thing Cooper likes to do more then eating. The little weirdo insists on having his face in the water all of the time. I have to watch him like a hawk. He sits with his legs out in a "V" in front of him and leans over and sticks his face in the water and screams and laughs. I’m telling you… he’s part fish.
We finished out the afternoon playing with the barn and "hauling" all of our cattle to the sale barn (Gma & Gpa McCloy bought him a cow-hauler truck for his birthday). He won’t keep the corrals on the back of the truck. I guess his cattle are pretty tame, they just ride on the flat bed. Here he is gathering his herd…
He has changed so much lately. He’s really testing his limits and my patience. He bit me for the first time yesterday. He wasn’t being mean, just checking to see if it was okay. We have also officially reached the scream and kick if you don’t get what you want stage. I’m okay with that… most of the time it’s pretty amusing. He dries it up pretty quick. My favorite thing right now is how sweet and loving he is. He likes to hug and give kisses right now… and laugh. He laughs all of the time.
