Editing away at Suzy and Clayton’s wedding. I got a new yummy lens before the big event, and to say that I like it COULD be the understatement of the century. For my camera geek friends, it’s a Canon 100mm 2.8 macro.
I would like to promise you that I am going to post the next installment of OM+KC this week… but holy cow is there a lot of “do’s” on my “to do” list. I have a wedding and a couple of sessions to get finished up, laundry from the weekend, and a three day rodeo that starts on Thursday night. Did I mention that we are ATTEMPTING to potty train Poopy Pooperton Cooper? Once I figure out this potty training thing, I’m going to start a business and charge people like five thousand dollars to stay with them for a week and potty train their kid. At this point, I’d pay ten times that. Spare me the Cheerios, Peeing outside, and bribery suggestions. If you have any ideas on how to make a kid care if his pants are wet or full of poop… let me know.
Hope you had a great holiday weekend. Happy Tuesday my friends.

Lori Brown - Money worked for us. Specifically quarters. I don’t know why, maybe it was just finally time, but my guy seriously DID NOT care.
Finally, one day, my husband said, “how about a quarter if you stay dry and pee/poop in the potty?” And it worked!
Who knew?
It’s worth a shot. (Cheerios, M&M’s, etc… did NOTHING for us!) And I personally think that pull-ups are just expensive diapers – – they feel the same as a diaper, only the child can pull them off and smear poop all down their leg when they’re doing it. LOVELY!
Goodluck!

Tanya - What a beautiful photo. Just wanted to tell you the rodeo section is done and the photos turned out great. I will try to hook up with you Saturday to give you some copies and the shirts.
Concerning potty training, I have a stubborn boy so we encouraged the potty training but we also let him do it on his time.
Have a great day!
Jennifer - I don’t know anything about potty training kids but I LOVE LOVE LOVE that picture of the ring…..I want a picture like that:)
Kim - lazy mother here….the method I used with both my kids…I just waited til they told me they were ready to stop wearing diapers. worked great for both:)
Reta - Let him go naked as much as possible in the house. I know you travel alot and won’t be able to on the road, but my sister did this with her grandson for about a week and he figured it out finally. He was 4. What can it hurt at home????
