I just got my replacement 24-70mm 2.8L from B&H in the mail. If you don't by your camera equipment from them, you should. Their customer service is out of this world. I called them on Monday morning and told them the lens I had just bought from them was not working properly and I had a wedding this weekend I needed it for. It should have been a Canon warranty issue, but because of the time crunch, they sent me a new one and even threw in the shipping both directions. I *heart* B&H.
